Housing Conditions 2025/2026:

Ain Shams University reserves the right to accept or reject the residency request in its dormitories, according to its capacity and admission priorities, and in accordance with its internal regulations and applicable bylaws. Coordination is based on grades, taking into account the distance between Cairo Governorate and the student's residence capital as a preferential factor, with a specific number of places determined for each faculty based on previous years' statistics.

The student must not be a resident of Greater Cairo, proven by their residence being outside of it, noting that [Centers (Toukh - Kafr Shukr - Benha - Shebin El Qanater) in Qalyubia Governorate and Centers (El Saff - Atfih - Hawamdia - Ayat - Badrashein - Manshiyat El Qanater - Bahariya Oasis) in Giza Governorate] are located outside the scope of Greater Cairo according to the Urban Planning Authority.
Student admission priority is based on the rule of highest grades and furthest distance.
